Welcome to North Texas Bully Rescue
North Texas Bully Rescue is a small grass roots organization dedicated to public education and the safe placement of Bully's in our community. We rescue Bully's out of the shelters, sometimes out of bad situations and find them suitable forever homes. We cannot do that without the help of our volunteers and sponsors.
If you would like to donate any amount your contribution will go directly to pay for spays/neuters, vaccinations and food. Please feel free to contact our vet at 817-763-8387 to contribute directly to the vets office. Please do not ask the vets to take your pets, they do enough for rescue, and they can NOT take in stray pets, please ONLY call if you are looking to use them, or help pay the vet bills. (-:
Another great way to help is fostering! If you are interested in fostering please contact us at fosterabull@gmail.com. Our fosters are very important to our organization because we do not have a facility, so that is the only way we are able to save these sweet animals. Can you help today? Get involved and make your community a better place for all residents!

Please feel free to call either vet in our sponsors section and make a payment to our account. They will let us know about the next time we come in, and you can tell them to not even tell us your name! The information is under the sponsors page. Thank you for your help, these guys depend on gracious people like you. (-:

Paprika needs your help
Poor Rikka has had a rough time this year...she has obviously had multiple litters, almost got hit by a car (that's how we got her), has had a reaction to the anesthesia when she got spayed, and now she is heartworm positive. Can this girl catch a break? She desperately deserves to have a happy life, and wants nothing more than to snuggle with a special human. Can you help her get well so she has a better chance at finding a loving furever home? Rikka deserves to be healthy and happy, please chip in $5 to help her get well.
We have already raised $325, we just need the other $225 to get her treated. Please help this loving dog have the HEALTHY life that she deserves!

Owen was found as a stray in front of our vet, they thought he was a clients dog. They got him inside and realized how sweet he was, and how little chance he would have if he got taken to the shelter! )-:
We decided to take him, and are SO happy that we did. The poor guy is heartworm positive, and seems like it is really affecting him, he coughs a lot. But it does not hurt his spirit at all, he is still the sweetest, most loving dog. Owen has gotten along with EVERY dog that he has met, and seems pretty indifferent to kitties.
Owen has had head trauma, it might have been from getting hit by a car, but whatever caused it, he can not take Ivermectin based preventative, so when it was given to him he got Ivermectin Toxicity. We can't have that! We need to get him treated and get him healthy so he can go to another heartworm preventative and stay negative and healthy! Owen had a rough start, can you help make the rest of his life better, like he deserves. (-:
