Happy Tails
We are SO happy to show you some of our Happy Tails! We have adopted out many more dogs, but not all families wish to be included in our Happy Tails area. If you have adopted from us and would like to post some of you and your dogs, PLEASE email us, we LOVE sharing Happy Tails about our Bully's. This page is why we do what we do, we want every dog to have a loving furever home that they can feel safe and secure in. We promote responsibull pet ownership, For Pits Sake, Be Responsibull. Spay and Neuter your pets, and love them furever!
Budkus and Layla"Gator" aka Budkus came to us because he was in a kill shelter and was on the fast track to being euthanized. He was wasting away in that place, he was getting sick and giving up. There was just something in his eyes that called to us. We are SO glad that we listened, he has now beat the odds. You could see a difference in him within 24 hours, he started to believe that it was ok, and we were able to get him better! Now he is in a loving home and is such a healthy, loving boy! We are also proud to announce that Budkus has a new little sister named Layla. (-: Little Layla was a sweet little girl that was abandoned at a high kill shelter. She was about 8 weeks old, and was going to be euthanized because there was no room for her there! She has recovered from Sarcoptic Mange thanks to her new family, and is doing great. We can't wait to see new pictures of these 2 beautiful dogs as she grows up! Layla has gone missing from her home. Please take a look at this sweet girls face and help her come home. She is loved and missed, and we are all heartbroken. It was a tragic accident, and her family was in no way negligent with these sweeties, Budkus found his way home, but sweet little Layla is still missing. Layla has very unique markings on her back, in face there is a triangle on her hip. If you THINK you see Layla, please contact us immediately. We just want to know where she is! |
Pudge, formerly known as ChazLittle Chaz came out of a high kill shelter where he was scheduled to be put down. He found his furever home, and is now known as 'Pudge'.
Pudge's family absolutely adores him, and keeps us up to date on how he is doing! We are so happy that Pudge has found his furever home, and we know that Pudge wants some of his other buddies to find their perfect furever homes. You can find Pudge here on Facebook, he helps his mom DJ from time to time (when he is allowed to go) and from what we hear he does a REALLY good job. (-: If you are looking for a DJ and LOVE Pit Bulls, then you are in luck! (-: |
Pudge wearing his spectacles, and to the left he is wearing his hearing protection so his sensitive ears do not get damaged while his mom works. (-: He is one lucky pup!

Jackson, formerly known as DieselDiesel is a sweet boy that is in a home with other doggies and kids. He was rescued from a local kill shelter where he was running out of time and needed to get out.
He was so lucky to find his purfect furever home...can you help one of Diesel's buddies find their purfect furever home? |
Clark KentClark and his brother Luther were dumped at a vets office in Dallas, during the first snowstorm of 2009. These poor little boys were covered in Demodectic Mange, and were very sick. We got them healthy and found them a good foster home.
Clark was such a sweet guy that he stole the heart of his foster mommy, and became what we refer to as a, "failed foster". That is not a bad thing, because he now has his purfect furever home! Clark now has an official title, he is officially a Canine Good Citizen! (Click on the words to learn more about the program) Congratulations to Clark and his mom on a job well done! (-: We are also lucky enough to get to see Clarky, because his mommy brings him to events! (-: |
Weezer now known as CeasarWeezer was a trucker dog, and loving life. Then his owner suddenly passed away so he went to live with his owners son. Then his family had to move to another country with the military. The country they moved to does not allow Pit Bulls or any "Pit Type" dogs. Poor Weezer was now going to be abandoned again, through no fault of his own. We agreed to take him because of the circumstances, and found him a good foster home that loved him. Then one of our volunteers fell in love with him. He is now in his purfect furever home, where he is loved and treasured as much as his 1st family loved him. Ceasar is a very happy boy, and deserves to be in a home that loves him so much!
P.S. Ceasar is the proud older sibling to 2 brand new little human babies! Congratulations to the proud parents, we will post more soon. |
Bam Bam aka ChanceBam Bam was brought into the shelter by his owner, for whatever reason they could not take care of him. He was such a scared boy in there, and had a deformed foot so no-one wanted him. An animal control officer asked us to take him because he had such a great personality! Well, she was right, Bam is a special guy that has one of the best temperaments on a dog that we have EVER seen!
Bam Bam was abandoned by his adopter and picked up by Animal Control, ending up in a small gassing shelter...he was found by another rescue who recognized how special this guy was. He is microchipped, but the chip is not working (another reason to TATTOO) Anyway, Bam Bam found his way into another rescue, and was adopted by that rescues director. We are VERY sad that Bammers had to go through that ordeal, but are happy that he is in a furever home that means it this time. We only wish that we could have prevented this sad story, however he is VERY loved and if we changed his journey, we might have to change the ending. Bam Bam's name is now Chance, and his new mom knows a little bit more about his story. We are happy for you sweet boy, and are not surpirsed at all that you stole your mom's heart, because you stole ours in the short time we knew you! |
