Canine Good Citizen
As dog owners, especially Bully lovers and owners, we have to be responsible pet owners. This includes making sure that our dogs are properly behaved in public and at home. We need to show the world what a responsible dog owner is, and how a well behaved pooch acts in everyday situations. North Texas Bully Rescue's commitment to public education is very important to us, so this year we will be reaching out to our community to help others learn about responsible pet ownership.
North Texas Bully Rescue will be hosting Canine Good Citizen training and classes in the future. Our dates for the actual test will be determined in the near future, but until then please start getting your personal pets ready to be tested! You can visit the AKC Website (click here) to find out more about the requirements to help your dog be a good citizen today. You can also start training your fosters so they can be ready to be tested when they find their purfect furever homes.
Classes for personal pets will be $5, foster and adopted dogs (from NTBR only) are free. Your $5 donation will go toward helping other needy animals find their purfect furever home in the future! Please talk to us if you are fostering for another organization, we are more than willing to work with you on coming to our training classes.
Please email us at [email protected] if you would like to set up a training schedule or class.
